Brandy’s Story
Every business has a story. Somewhere between templates, trending audio, and AI generated everything, a lot of brands are starting to lose theirs.
Mine started in the summer of 2020, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, fresh out of design school, with no clients and no perfect moment waiting for me. So I made one. What began as helping friends and family with their branding turned into Brandelle Designs. By January 2021, after months in the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program, I'd won grant funding that made the whole thing real.
Here's what I've learned since. A business is never just its visuals. It's the decision to start the damn thing when it would have been easier not to. It's the late nights and the doubt that somehow turned into something real. When a brand is finally built with that same intention, something shifts for the woman behind it. Confusion becomes clarity. She stops questioning whether her work is enough and starts owning what she's actually built.
That's the work I do. Six years in, Brandelle Designs serves women-owned businesses across North Carolina and beyond.
